Upgrade Your Home for Less

Through Georgia’s Home Energy Rebates program, eligible Flint Energies members can access significant savings for making their homes more efficient.

There are two different rebate programs available: 

Home Efficiency Rebate
(HER)

Focus: Whole-home energy savings. 

What It Covers: Upgrades that reduce your overall energy usage, such as insulation, air sealing, and HVAC improvements. 

The Benefit: Rebate amounts are based on the total energy saved and your household income level. 

Incentive Level: Up to $16,000 or up to 98% of project costs.

Participant Eligibility: Higher rebates for household incomes less than 80% AMI.

Home Electrification & Appliance Rebate (HEAR)

Focus: New high-efficiency appliances.

What It Covers: Point-of-sale discounts on heat pump HVACs, water heaters, electric stoves, and more.

The Benefit: Instant savings for households earning less than 150% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Incentive Level: Up to $14,000.

Participant Eligibility: Specifically for households with incomes less than 150% AMI.

Additionally, the Home Energy Efficiency Contractor Training Grant will help train contractors in energy efficiency and electrification work.
